PADI Scuba Certified

Updated November 15th, 2022.

I am PADI Scuba Certified and have been on five dives across the world

I first started the process back in August/September of 2017, doing my coursework and pool instructions with the Anchor Shack Dive Shop, the owner of which Kevin was very nice and friendly.

I then set off to Jamaica for Secrets of the Underground in September where I went diving with ScubaCaribe at the Riu Ocho Rios Club Hotel. My instructor Jenn was equally a great teacher and was a joy to dive with! Sitting on the boat navigating out to our first dive site I thought I was going to get the jitters as it would be my first time diving in the ocean, but I think I was just so pumped to finally get my toes wet, especially with my good film crew friends, that I actually experienced no anxiety or fear!

I finished up my certification with Mark from PV Ocean Tours, at the Los Arcos marine preserve and also at Mismaloya Beach, two unique environments with some fascinating geology.

You can experience my two Puerto Vallarta dives with me by watching the video below:

My last dive was in Montenegro, where I experienced ear pressure problems. The waters were clear and I free dived a lot in the upper layer for the “sixth” dive.
